Mandy Simpson, LMT

Specializing in Therapeutic Bodywork and Intentional Skin Care

Mandy Simpson is a Licensed Massage Therapist and cosmetologist with over a decade of experience in the wellness industry, spanning luxury resort spas, high-altitude athletic studios, and her own community spa in the mountains of southwest Colorado. Her work blends therapeutic bodywork with botanical skin care – drawing on training in Ashiatsu, Thai Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Prenatal work to meet each body exactly where it is. Mandy approaches every session as a conversation between craft and care—precise enough for an athlete's recovery, gentle enough for an aging body, and attentive enough to hold whatever a client needs that day.

How is Mandy’s bodywork & skincare different?

Life in the mountains asks a lot of your body. Between long days on the trail, a demanding job, and everything family and work pile onto your shoulders — literally — it's easy to end up sore, stressed, and running on empty.

You don't need another luxury you can't justify. You need real relief that actually holds up against the life you're living. That's where Mandy comes in — a licensed massage therapist and cosmetologist with over a decade of experience, trained in Ashiatsu, Thai Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, and custom techniques she has developed to bring medical-grade results into a spa setting. She specializes in shoulder work and sciatic/hip release — the places where stress and a hard-working body tend to settle in first. Her skin care is botanically based and results-focused, addressing acne, hormonal breakouts, hyperpigmentation, hydration, and aging gracefully — because looking after your skin should feel like self-care, not another chore.

Your session may include (edit!):

  • Deep tissue & sports massage for athletes and climbers

  • Gentle, restorative work for aging or sensitive bodies

  • Custom botanical facials and skin therapy

  • Prenatal massage techniques

  • Seasonal treatments—warming in winter, detoxifying in shoulder seasons, hydrating in summer

  • Herbal and botanical elements drawn from her own studies

Every session with Mandy is built around the specific body on her table. Whether you're recovering from a hard training block, managing the wear of years on your joints, or simply craving a slower kind of care, she tailors pressure, pacing, and technique to what your body is asking for.

Rooted in the Rockies

Mandy is six generations deep in southwest Colorado, and her path into this work started long before massage school. As a kid, her father wanted her to grow up with a story—so he brought home forty sled dogs. She and her family raised and trained them, ran tours and races, and hauled them to school for show-and-tell. It gave her an early education in patience, physical work, and reading a body (four-legged or otherwise) that couldn't tell her in words what it needed.

That instinct carried her through eleven years in Ouray, where she built a massage practice at the Ouray Hot Springs Pool and came to know the bodies of climbers, athletes, and elders alike. During COVID she was recruited as Spa Director for the Fairmont Heritage Place Franz Klammer Lodge in Telluride, where she developed a seasonal treatment menu for luxury spa guests—warming hot-pack and ginger oil rituals in winter, detoxifying dry brushing and seaweed wraps in the shoulder seasons, skin-quenching hydration in summer. In 2022, she brought that experience home to open Elevate Wellness Spa in Ouray, a community staple offering yoga, infrared sauna, custom massage, and skin care until flooding closed its doors in late 2025.

Mandy moved to Bozeman at the start of this year, bringing with her a decade of hands-on expertise, a devotion to herbalism and botanical skin care, and a deep love of mentoring other therapists. At Ensō, she's continuing the work she's always done: helping people feel more at home in their own bodies.
